Good point oldfriend, but keep this in mind. This contest in NO WAY represents what most of us are betting each day. For instance, one week you HAVE to take a favroite, the next week you HAVE to take a team with a lesbian wife, you get the picture.
Another example is that because of the format, if you are behind near the end of the week, then you are forced to either take the biggest favorite on teh board just to make sure to win, or take the biggest underdog to catch up the most. That doesnt mean that the guys picking those games would actually bet those games.
Also, if you lose your first 2 games in a week or first game, then you are forced to take chances in order to try and catch up.
